What is the plan?
June-July 16:30pm, August-September 17:00 :
Meeting at Wire Plain car park (Bus stop Number 12)
30 min Snowshoe walk (450m). We will weave our way through the snow gums toward the eco-village where you’ll enjoy a delicious heart warming glass of Glühwein or hot chocolate outside by the fire.
You will then be invited in the central tipi with a fireplace, where you will learn the secrets to making a traditional and mouth-watering French fondue, with cheese imported for the occasion from French Alpine farms.
After a 3 course dinner we will finish our drinks and wrap up our stories and head back to Wire plain car park (10 minutes) or continue the evening dancing through the night. We usually finish around 9:00pm and no later than 23:30.
Igloo to Skidoo guests will waive the group goodbye and settle in their Snow-dome for a cosy night looking at the stars from the warmth of their bed.
Next morning, a hearty warm breakfast will be served under the main tipi.
Around 10:00am, you will be picked up by the Skidoo and enjoy a scenic ride back to the wire plain car park.
How to dress?
During the adventure we may be exposed to all sorts of weather, dress accordingly. Activities in the snow alternate between moments of high warmth (effort) and rapid cool down. We recommend to use a multi layer approach to avoid being too hot or too cold.
The key to stay comfortable is to stay dry, for this reason avoid cotton as much as possible.
What to bring?
Snowshoe to Fondue:
Waterproof jacket, hat or beanie, scarf, gloves, warm socks, waterproof shoes appropriate to walk in, warm clothes.
Igloo to Skidoo:
All the above plus, toothbrush, warm pyjama, dry change of cloth, a little backpack to fit it all. And a swimming costume for the Onsen if took the package!

What happens if the weather is bad?
The mountain is an unpredictable environment. We run our adventure in all conditions including in average weather (we call it bikini weather). The only time we will cancel a tour is when the conditions are declared unsafe. If so, we will contact you directly to inform you and offer a refund or to reschedule.
What happens if there is no snow?
Luckily we only need a little snow dust to make it beautiful! However, if there is not sufficient snow, we probably won’t need to use the snowshoes for the guided tour.
The skidoo scenic tour is snow dependent. In the unlikely event that we would not be able to run it, guests would be able to redeem a voucher of equal value towards a bar tab or package on an Alpine Nature Experience adventure or a Skidoo tour by SnowStuffPark at a later date.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Our adventures require a lot of preparation. For this reason we are unable to offer any refund on our tours.
I am coming from Dinner Plain or Bright, do I need a resort entry?
Resort Entry is complimentary for arrivals in the resort after 3pm and until midnight on the day of your arrival. So as long as you are coming for the evening and leaving before midnight you do not need a resort entry.
